READ MY STORY

I’m a wife, mum, nana (nanny/nan) sister, auntie, daughter, cousin and business owner and coach – not necessarily in order of importance!

Following a diagnosis of an aggressive breast cancer in 2016 I’ve invested a lot of time in learning to live and thrive with uncertainty.

Being clear on what’s important to me was the first step in that process.

Making decisions which support me to maintain good physical and mental wellbeing is critical.

Making time to do the things that bring me joy is my driving force.

I love being outdoors – it’s my happy place but can’t decide if I prefer green space or blue space – think it depends on my mood.

Either way connecting with nature is very important to me and luckily there’s lots of evidence to prove its’ positive impact on our mental and physical wellbeing.

I also like to be able to back up what I do with some evidence – a throw back to more than 25 years in the NHS and Public Health.
